How can I find a song?
Answer:
Use the blue search box on the left side of the website to find the song lyrics.
For now you should see good search results, when you enter a Artist name and a song title.
If you search for lyrics use short phrases and words that you can remember of the song.
Omitt words like you, will, are, be, have, has, is, -ing use the % character as a placeholder instead.

Question: What's the advanced search features and how does it work?
Answer:
The advanced search feature overlooks little typos. Although
this feature is a bit outdated, it gives good results if you make little mistakes. I'm currently working in my free time
to improve the search algorithm.
A small mistake for example like "jaki velasquez" will list all songs from the Artist "Jaci Velasquez".

Question: Can I download or list all available songs?
Answer:
You can list all songs by each Artist by clicking on the top link Artist.
See then the initial letters of the Artist. By clicking on the Artist name all song titles are listed.
For now you can't download all songs.

Question: Why are so many Albums not listed?
Answer:
We noticed that almost everyone looks for Artist, Title, and Lyrics.
Rarely someone is looking for the Album.

Question: How come that my results show some Songs I haven't looked for?
Answer:Some songs are performed by more than one Artist. However the table list only one. In time we may change that.

Song Rating:
Question: What does "Song Rating" mean and its purpose?
Answer: "Song Ratings" are used to determine the popularity of
Song Lyrics contained on this website. When someone is viewing the list of
Songs, zero to five stars will be displayed; five stars means the Song is very
popular. Every person is involved, all visitors are free to give their opinion
by rating a Song from one to ten, where ten is the best vote.

Question: Why do you have so many banners on your website, are you trying to make money?
Anwser:
Today everything costs money: the internet, your computer, repairing computer,etc. A website is like a computer that is always online. Try to keep
your computer up all the time. See how much electricity power it uses, how much hardware malfunctions you notice, how often you need to replace hardware,
and all this little things costs money, and we pay the bills.
So we think that it's just fair if you help us a little by clicking on some of the banners you're interested in. Then we earn
a little to pay the internet service provider costs (remember upload costs more than download), hardware changes, etc.
However with the songbook version 2.0 it's planed to remove the banners for registered members who have earned at least 50 points.
Members can earn points by adding, correcting lyrics.

Quesiton: Can I support your site? What can I do?
Answer:
You support the website, when you buy and
signup with one of our affillates like Napster, E-Music, Sheetmusicplus, and
Ebay.com using the banners and links provided on every page.
If you want to help, visit and register at the Christian
community site; lyrics requests are made every day, we need
volunteers and active members helping each other.
